Benjamin is pleased to introduce new printing options that will please both the fine-art collector and the more price conscious customer.
All film-based limited edition prints are created through a traditional darkroom process on Ilforchrome Classic Delux (formally known as Cibachrome) paper. These prints, hand-made by Corey Allen at Hidden Light, LLC in Flagstaff Arizona, represent the ultimate quality in terms of color saturation, tone, and likeness to the original negative. Note: Since these are hand made per order, please allow additional time for these prints to be developed and shipped.
All digital limited edition prints are created by Calypso Imaging in Santa Cruz, California. They are developed through a hybrid-traditional/digital darkroom process with a Lightjet 5000 on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. This paper provides the closest match to Ilforchrome Classic Delux paper in terms of quality and color saturation.
Open Edition Prints are developed on Kodak Endura Metallic paper. This metallic paper provides a nice compromise between he color saturation and tonal advantages of Supergloss paper and the convenience of a prompt and efficient developing process.
And finally, new from Southwest Horinzons is the availability of reproduciton 8"x10" prints of all limited edition prints offered. These high-quality reproductions will allow consumers to purchase non-collector copies of limited edition prints at reproduction prices.
All of the photographs in the gallery are available for purchase. The prints are available by themselves, double matted or framed. All matting is done on 100% acid-free cotten rag matte.
